I kept running and finally I reached the spot where the smell was strongest, which was quite a way from both Forks and the reservation. There, lying on her stomach was a girl that had horribly pale skin and had dark hair that was the same shade as Bella’s. I looked away from her briefly, seeing how far the rest of the group was back, according to my predictions, they would be here in about a minute. I could wait. She didn’t seem to be going anywhere. We circled around her and stalked towards her, using my left paw I turned her over, exposing her face. Her eyes were closed, her lips stained with blood, and mud dried on one side of her face. Her eyes slowly opened, her eyes were black, she was hungry, and I bridged myself to attack. Suddenly I couldn’t get myself to move away from her, I felt my heart skip a beat. I did not just imprint! My heart belonged to Bella and only Bella! Wait…this vampire lying on the ground did look freakishly like Bella.
