Speed is one of the superhuman abilities acquired from the change into a vampire. Vampires are capable of moving do fast that they are invisible to human eyes. The speed at which a vampire runs is entirely effortless to them; it comes as second nature. Vampires are able to run with such speed that there is no sound evident to a human’s ears. Running does not excite their pulse (as they don’t have one), or quicken their breathing. Obviously, a vampire’s speed at running will decrease when they are carrying a load. They are aware that they are unable to outrun another vampire while carrying a large enough load.    It’s not just their physical movement that can be exceptionally fast—a vampire’s speech can also be faster than the human ear can understand. While on the topic of speech, it is also worth noting that vampires are able to speak at either very high, or very low frequencies that humans cannot comprehend.               A vampire’s love of speed is also picked up in their driving. Usually, if a vampire drives, they will love to drive at the car’s maximum speed, and most vampires prefer the fastest and most expensive cars around. They enjoy the speed of the car; it reminds them of the exhilaration they feel while running. Vampires have very fast reflexes, so it all seems effortless to them.
