“Are you sure you will be okay by yourself?” asked my mother caringly. 
“Yes mom, I’ll be fine. I’ve flown on a plane by myself before,” I answered, annoyed, while she fussed with my clothes. “Plus, Dad will be at the airport when I arrive,” I added. 
“Well, okay. Bye, honey,” she said, giving my forehead a kiss. I turned around and headed towards Customs so that I could live with my Dad for the school year. When I had got on the plane and was seated in my seat, a flight attendant came around and asked anyone if they wanted refreshments. I got a glass of water from them, quickly drank it, and then fell into a deep slumber.
